About Us

At Hot Chocolaterie, my mission is simple: to provide uniquely flavoured, bold and ethically sourced delicious treats to chocolate lovers the world over! I'm starting with Buxton, so if you're as crazy about chocolate as I am, what are you waiting for? 

It all started in 2023 when, after working with chocolate for around seven years at that point, I thought, "I really don't want to do anything else!" So, along with my wonderful partner, Luke, who just so happens to be a joiner, and fitted out my beautiful shop for me, (I hitched my wagon to the right horse all those years ago, eh?) I opened my lovely little shop.

All of my chocolates are handmade in-house by me. I use real flavourings for my fillings. For example, in the banana bread it's pureed bananas, and in the Sea Buckthorn Jelly, it's real Sea Buckthorn berries! I focus heavily on my chocolates tasting as close to the REAL thing as possible, and I just love colourful creations so that's what I make.

 There's a little something for everyone, from new and bold to the tried and tested traditional flavours but sometimes with a delicious little twist. I offer tasting plates so you can treat yourself and sample a number of my flavours, real hot chocolate, with spiced special editions, tea, coffee and homemade bakes. I can also host small events such as book and craft clubs, hen parties etc.
